Tracy Morgan was reportedly rushed to the hospital late last night after collapsing while attending the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
The 30 Rock star, 43, was taken to the Park City Medical Center after passing out following his acceptance of the Spotlight Initiative Award. The honor was presented to Morgan at an event hosted by the Creative Coalition.
Although several sources indicate that Morgan seemed inebriated at the time, a spokesperson for the Medical Center said there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol detected in his system.
Morgan’s rep also denied that Morgan had been drinking that evening, and said he was hospitalized “from a combination of exhaustion and altitude.”
The actor is at the Sundance Film Festival to promote the movie “Predisposed”, which premieres at the festival on Friday and stars Morgan, Jesse Eisenberg, and Melissa Leo.
Morgan has diabetes and had a kidney transplant in 2010. He was arrested for drunk driving in 2005 and 2006, incidents that he says convinced him to stop drinking altogether.
